Robson Community school is located a few kilometers northwest of Castlegar. This location, which has access to the Columbia River, Arrow lakes and Pass Creek spawning grounds, has made placed based learning a focus. RCS has a very strong community spirit and climate which welcomes all community members.
The staff is committed to educating and caring for all students and meeting the needs of the “Whole Child”. We work collaboratively to offer a wide range of activities for children and their families during the school day and beyond. We strive to address the significant social, emotional, and academic needs of our students.
To extend the educational experience, our school hosts a Strong Start Centre, offering a variety of activities for preschoolers and their families, as well as an After School Care Program. Robson has a very active PAC that makes hot lunch for students every Friday and hosts family events like dances and movie nights.
With a student body of just under 200, Robson is big enough to provide a variety of opportunities but small enough that everyone is family.
